Warranty and Material Return Policy

In order to return materials, the conditions and criteria for returns are as follows:

1. A sales receipt from Suburban Garden Center within the last 30 days (2 days for plants) is required at time of returned item.

Item cannot be returned if:

1.1. Part of a direct ship price or sale;

1.2. It was on clearance, discontinued, or was a special order;

1.3. Material was damaged or altered;

1.4. Material was purchased with special discounts.

2. A 20% handling fee will be charged to the customer for materials returned that meet the following criteria:

2.1. Full & complete row/band/pallet returned from a pallet purchased from Suburban Garden Center;

2.2. There are no stains, discoloration or dirt on the product and is suitable for resale;

2.3. The product is not a clearance or discontinued item.

3. Conditions where a 20% re-stocking fee will be waived are:

3.1. Any materials with a proven manufacturing and/or color defect previously approved by a sales representative from the manufacture;

3.2. Any materials damaged at time of delivery by Suburban Garden Center. (Outside carriers are responsible for material delivered. Customer is responsible for inspecting and notifying us of any visible damage due to shipping at time of delivery.)

4. All refunds will be for store credit only on items purchased with cash.

5. Refunds for returns on customer accounts will receive a credit to their account.

6. Plant Warranty:

6.1. No warranty on discounted plants. Sale or discounted plants are final sale.

6.2. 90 day warranty will be honored for plants sold at full retail price (No warranty on annuals and perennials).

6.3. Suburban offers a 1 year warranty (plant only) when we deliver and install plant(s) at 80% the purchased retail price and full retail price of the plant(s).  Warranty is for one replacement. Labor to replace plant not included in warranty. $200 minimum purchase of plants before tax. (Labor not included)

6.4. As in any return or warranty a receipt is required with plant. No exceptions.

6.5. Suburban will determine if plant can be saved or needs replacement.

6.6. Warranty covers one plant replacement or another plant of equal value. Labor is not included.

6.7. Warranty does not cover damage due to deer, or other animals, or insect, or other plant diseases, or weather, or lack of care by customer.

7. No warranty or returns on bagged or bulk goods such as stone, mulch, fertilizer, seed, etc….

8. We do not accept returns from other vendors.
